Kaup Haneef is the resident number-cruncher at Tawseel. He first joined the company in 2006 as Chief Accountant and was promoted to Assistant Finance Manager in 2007. He is currently the Finance Manager and is responsible for financial planning, liaising with banks, controlling expenditure, making internal budget and maximising profits.
Born in Mumbai, India, Haneef holds a Masters in Commerce from Mumbai University, an MBA in Finance from the American City University, Dubai, and an MBA in International Business from London City College, Dubai.
While studying for his Masters degree in Commerce, Haneef worked at Dhawan Gulathi Chartered Accountants for five years, fine tuning his skills and gaining invaluable experience working in the accounting environment. When he completed his degree in 1996, he launched straight into full time work with the Mumbai Cricket Association as an accountant.
Later that year, Haneef relocated to the UAE for broader career opportunities and landed a position working with Vanilla Music, a music distribution company. Haneef stayed with Vanilla Music for eleven years before coming to work for Tawseel in 2006.
Aside from number-crunching, Haneef finds the time to captain the Tawseel cricket team, AMG’s top team! He also enjoys watching cricket matches, keeping up-to-date on current affairs, and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
