Orginally from Ernakulam in Kerala, Muraleedharan holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Kerala University and he first left India in 1983 to work in Bahrain. Eight years later he moved to the UAE and worked with Khaleej Times in Abu Dhabi from 1991 to 1999 before returning home to India.
But he didn’t stay away long, in 2005 Muraleedharan returned to the UAE to join Tawseel as the Deira Area Manager, bringing with him the experience gained working as Area Manager for two of India’s leading newspapers, the Times of India and Pioneer.
Today, Muraleedharan’s energies are all focused on Tawseel’s business in Deira. He looks after the distribution of all Tawseel products in the area, as well as the distribution of third party publications including the Times, Madhayamam and Siraj, with the help of a team of 24 motorcycle delivery riders and two supervisors.
Describing Dubai as his second home, Muraleedharan believes in fostering a strong team sprit, having vision and setting goals for the company. On weekends, he enjoys driving around the emirates to discover new places as well as catching up on movies. He likes to travel and London is his favourite holiday destination.
