Joining Tawseel in September 2005, Jijo Paul was first taken on as Area Manager, to look after the New Dubai area. His quick assimilation to the company’s goals and work ethic saw him take over position of Brand Manager in 2006.
In his role as Brand Manager, Jijo plans, develops and directs marketing efforts and is responsible for maximising revenue for the company. He also oversees the consistent sales growth for all product lines by market monitoring, instigates appropriate market reaction, negotiates higher margins with clients, sales channel development, and recommends and implements marketing strategies unique for each territory.
Before joining Tawseel, Jijo worked in Gulf News from November 1993 to October 2005 to October, beginning from a salesperson and going on to become the merchandiser in August 2003.
Born in Cochin, India, Jijo completed his Bachelors degree in Art (Economics) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala in 1992. He moved to Dubai in 1993, and still values the region for its career prospects, high standard of living and security.
Jijo considers himself a social being and therefore socializing is his favourite pastime, as well as playing badminton.
